Going up in the world

First a trip up the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster including being present at Big Ben 2 striking one o’clock.
This followed by lunch in Westminster Hall visitors’ cafe and then a visit to the Strangers’ Gallery in the Commons and then half an hour in the Strangers’ Gallery in the Lords.
A quick dash back to the hotel for a change before heading off to Covent Garden for dinner and then The Mousetrap.
