I was really pleased to snap this Christmas scene this morning because I passed it as I walked back from seeing the surgeon. It’s the first time for over a year that I’ve been able to walk that far; and without any pain! Next target is to walk home from the hospital after my next blood test; just a bit further. I wonder whether going on the Christmas Day walk is a dream too far?
Great meeting with the surgeon; he said that because of my age he’ll admit me as an in-patient rather than a day patient. Not sure exactly how long the waiting list is but sometime in the new year; though I expect the year will be getting at least middle aged before I reach the top of the pile! But the process is underway which is fine!
