Home and Garden in Alford.

 Our first stop on a journey which took in Portsoy, and Cullen before heading back to Ballater.

At Cullen we enjoyed ‘probably the best Cullen Skink in the world’. Delicious.

The journey outward was fine with no real drama. We usually visit TR. They usually have an interesting collection of furniture, books, artworks, etc. However, not so much today. I believe that they are awaiting more stock.

I did Blip the Rabbit, but it has the character of a vegetarian rat.

After to our Skink lunch and chocolate cake we headed back. The weather did deteriorate and we encountered snow and rain. It was dark by 3:45 PM.

The journey took longer than anticipated as the road conditions worsened. Eventually we arrived back at our lodge.

I felt really tired after the journey. However, a whisky and green ginger livened me up.
