Pohutukawa in flower

Second non stop 9 hour work day. Tomorrow will be easier. And I have Peer Review in the evening

On my walk the loudest calls were being made by the many Tui  high in trees close to the road. As I went past the Woodlands Park Primary School, there was a big flurry of Tui action in a Pohutukawa tree by the gate. , and three flew away. They almost seem jet propelled. The remaining Tui was seeking sustenance, and can be seen in an overexposed extra. The main photo is the Pohutukawa flowers.
