Wild Poppies

After church this morning I drove to the Cardrona River in search of Californian Poppies.  Here they are looking bright and colourful.  That is Mt Roy in the background.  The extra photo is of the church flowers.

We are very excited as Scooby Doo is coming home for a week from her work place on the Milford Track.  She is due home about 9 p.m.  All she wants to do when she gets home for a week is to sleep!!!
