Throwback

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

I took Murphy to the vet today for his monthly arthritis injection. A woman in the waiting area laughed when we walked in and said she’d never seen a dog so excited about being at the vet. She gave him lots of cuddles and then he was given treats by the lady in reception so he was completely beside himself and dancing around much to the amusement of everyone in the waiting area. Even the cat people on the other side of reception were laughing!

I can’t say it made his examination very easy. Couldn’t quite manage to get an accurate weight reading as he wouldn’t stay on the scales for more than a nanosecond and he started randomly jumping up at the vet. Thankfully she said she has a real soft spot for yellow Labradors. Just as well!

It reminded me of taking him when he was a puppy. In a PTSD kind of way!
