The winner

You wouldn't think that Liz had just won the Soledad trophy, ladies section. This is the one that I didn't qualify for yesterday. Liz belongs to Las Ramblas, my course, and we frequently play together. I am pleased that she won, she is a very consistent player. Her winning score was 37 points, that was the score I had yesterday.

Her prizes consisted of a voucher for 4 pirelli tyres to the value of 800?, some very expensive toiletries and a cabochard watch, also Ben Hogan lob wedge, mounted on a presentation board.

Not bad for a 30? entry fee. I must try harder next year.
