On my morning bike ride, despite having winter clothing, and taking in a decent amount of hills, I could not get warm enough. Hot food and drink back home were most welcome.
This fly was in our porch and must have been similarly affected by the weather, as it was quite sluggish. I moved it into a sunny part, fed it some melon, and after several minutes it perked up and flew off. As a reward it let me take a few photos.
