Togetherness

.... on a very cold, grey Monday morning. Quick blip of this pair of cormorants (actually not sure if they are 'together' :)) and a another one on the River Meuse before we left Dinant. 
We did some supermarket shopping for Christmas presents (mostly beer and chocolate) before leaving Belgium. Then a horrible drive in sleet and rain through Luxembourg and into France.
Now ensconced in a fab airbnb loft in the ancient and tiny town of Turckheim, nestled in the vineyards of Alsace nr Colmar. Apparently it became a free imperial city in 1312! We have visited before but stayed in Colmar. More about it tomorrow as we are out to dinner soon... There is a small Christmas market here and lots of wine cellars..https://www.turckheim.com/en/
