I was hoping for Waxwings

... which have been sen in Sheffield and all I got was this woodpecker (who thinks I can't see him), starlings and a female blackbird.

I would have thought the white berries would have attracted them from miles away.  In previous years we've had migratory thrushes stripping the tree (and guarding against all intruders, which included a Blackcap) but not this year.  Maybe it's been too mile so far.
