La vida de Annie

By Annie

Casa mariposa.

Today we were going to the garden centre near Ferreries, where I wanted to buy small lavendar and rosemary plants to remind me of my wedding posy. To our dismay the car park and even the overspill car park were completely full, so the store was obviously going to be crazy busy, and we left at once. I can't tolerate crowds, and more than ever since covid, which I know is still a thing despite government attempts to ignore it.
Going back we did a detour through the streets of Ferreries, a warren of one-way narrow passageways with seemingly no possible route of escape (I experienced that in Runcorn once, and have refused to go there since). I did spot this quirky house though, charmingly if eccentrically covered in flowers, butterflies and upbeat slogans. I wonder what it's like inside?
