Garden dogs Gece and Sandy joined Rufus and me as they usually do, for our morning walk.  Nearly home again and Gece couldn't decide if she should drink or paddle in this rather large reminder of our recent storms, so she did both! 

Weather wise, a dry and sunny but cold morning, but the clouds rolled over for an afternoon and early evening of rain. It has finally stopped now, which is good as Graham is driving to the airport to collect Kat who has been in Amsterdam for the last few days. My day has been very quiet in recovery mode after yesterday's Christmas Fayre, and some handicraft doll making while binge watching The West Wing Season 1.  Gece is with me again this evening, currently curled up on the mat. I think she gets lonely in the long winter evenings and it's bitterly cold tonight.  

In other news, Rufus' travel to the UK mid December is now reserved. He'll go overland with a pet transport company often used by CoDA to send shelter dogs to new forever homes in the UK.
