Frost at last!

The second frosty morning of the season but I missed the first one.  All the dahlias and nasturtiums have collapsed.  I walked, without the dog the long way down to pick up the papers and was glad the frost and lack of recent lane had reduced the mud.  

Quiet morning at home, doing peaceful household chores, the washing, tidying up, putting stuff on Vinted.  I made some lovely soup for lunch and then went over to Mum’s picking up petty cash and macaroons for tea.  

Heavy rain this evening though.  I watched the new Doctor Who which was glorious.  Welcome back Russell T! 

Woody continues to get better and has ventured out a bit which is good.  He certainly perked up at the sight of an apple core and carrot tops.
