(our parent's 78th anniversary today - married right here in Seattle - she had just returned from Italy where she had served in Red Cross mostly in Naples for 3 years - met dad towards the end of the war, a major in Armed Cavalry - mom wrote home weekly and my did she fall in love FAST!  I have read her three years worth of letters more than once - fun to dive into that life she lived)
