Burnham Overy

Walked down before anyone was up. The high tide was ebbing fast.
Curlew were calling, a hare took off across the fields and the geese were heading inland to feed.
More of a gunmetal grey morning with the biting wind of yesterday having abated, but somehow it felt colder and more raw. Changed, ran across the cold sands and jumped in … lots of razor shells and and gulls feeding on the fast ebb.
After breakfast J and M went into Burnham Market whilst my sister, uncle and I went to the White Horse. No sign of M&R when we passed.
Dinner at the Hero.
