‘Birthday Candles’

My son and my granddaughter (his niece) have birthdays just a fortnight apart in November, and this afternoon, we went to my daughter and son-in-law’s in Glasgow for a jolly little double birthday celebration attended by immediate family. 

For my granddaughter, whose birthday it was yesterday, it was the culmination of a weekend of parties, which started with a go-karting session after school on Friday with one group of friends and a sleepover last night with another smaller group!
