String

A quiet day letting my sister recover a bit after her busy week and before she begins another busy week!!  Lovely roast lunch as the drizzle fell outside and then she headed off (leaving her charging ipad behind by mistake!) 
This is a picture of some fabric string I made for a project (secret as it may be a gift for a daughter) . I made it using the string/cordage making skills I had learnt earlier this year.  Thin strands of leftover fabric were twisted up to make a long cord.. perfect for the job I needed it to do!
A very peaceful afternoon planning which ingredients I need to buy to make mincemeat and a Christmas pud.  (Cake will have to follow on later perhaps) I really must get my thinking cap on for Christmas presents.. I am definitely lacking inspiration just now but hope I might be inspired soon!
