Just Like That

Today it's been 8-10 degrees below zero here in Helsinki. Due to the northeastern wind it feels -14. 

We haven't had snow nearly at all until today, just cold. Now it's been  snowing heavily until the afternoon. Suddenly, winter is here.

Our two Cape primroses (Streptocarpus), especially this coloured in the picture, go on flowering without caring about winter. Another one is white. This species is seasonally flowering, in summers. 

But now depending on our moods we can choose if we look winter scene out or the flowers in, or both as confused :)
