Kirkcudbright Santa

Today's the day .......................... to disembark

How else would Santa arrive in the port of Kirkcudbright, other than to sail up the Dee Estuary and disembark from a boat?

And that's exactly what happened this morning at 11.00am prompt.  A smiling, waving Santa with bell, was brought into the harbour quay on the Kirkcudbright Range Safety boat.  From there, he came down the gang-plank to rapturous applause and proceeded to mingle with the crowds at the Christmas Market, high-fiving any willing children as he went.

It really got things off to a flying festive start .....................!
