The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul

Cold, wet and windy Sundays... are not my favourite aspect of Autumn. They don't really go on forever but it feels like it... and all of a sudden it's gone dark and you haven't even left the house! Heh.

The few hours of daylight we enjoyed were largely full of me messing up perfectly good music by accompanying it on bass. So here's a baby fern on my study windowsill, tripled and fartnarkled. Worth a Large look...

I'll drop in one of my last two extras, simply for the fun of last night's excellent gig at UTEA in Wotton. The Blue Badgers played an excellent set and we had some extra fun from the audience...

As they completed their song celebrating the tearing down of the Colston statue in Bristol, a man stood up and stormed out yelling that he wasn't there to listen to woke rubbish. I think it was their first ever walk out.

I may have cheered as he left. Anyhow, the extra shows Rory's dad on Djembe giving me a concentrated Paddington stare; not for cheering but because he's beating out quite a complex rhythm... ;-)
