I was up before 6 this morning. Probably because Clive wasn't home.

Yesterday evening l heard there was a narrowboat on fire by the London Road bridge. It was causing traffic problems with police and firemen in attendance and a road closure. 

So I was out earlier than usual for a gander. It was taped off so I only got hearsay. No one was injured.

It was still smoking even though partly submerged so must have been severe.

A very cold day.
