John and the Iron Horse

Since JohnSmiley shared the photo of me and Marla under Jakob Two Trees, I felt it was only fair that I share the picture of him and Issaquah’s Iron Horse. Lol.
Yes, we had a wonderful BlipMeet celebrating our 5-year anniversary. We enjoyed each others company visiting the Railroad Museum, and holiday-bazaar shopping while strolling thru this historic village (dairy, Shell station, theater, commemorative wall murals), & observing their unique sculptures ( modern, classic bronzes, artistic bird houses, even a Moroccan door -gift from their sister-city).
Then a delightful lunch at Levitate Gastropub - great burgers (Kobe beef or black bean vegan!) with more entertaining conversation.
I look forward to including this BlipMeet with John when I visit my Seattle sister and her West Coast family each Thanksgiving. Thanks to my bestie Karen (Blip ‘LabradorLane’) for introducing me to this special gentle man.
