It's a great time of year for Brown Anoles (Anolis sagrei) Darting about looking for a tasty bit of prey, or a new 'friend', this one is a male displaying his colorful throat fan. They are very territorial and he was most likely trying to convince me to go find my own hunting grounds.

I enjoy studying these guys up close because I love their prehistoric presence. Always have to remember though, to keep a keen eye out for their larger cousins! ;)
