Tunnel Vision (The Mt Victoria Vehicle Tunnel)

This is the Mt Victoria tunnel which The Boss didn't expect to be walking through but was after finding his "Bus" plans had not eventuated. Welli has the odd problem with a lack of Bus drivers at times and Sunday was probably a great time for this to happen so we walked.
The walking access if fine but is shared with bikes who are mostly polite so you can get out of the way easily and the tunnel is really very well ventilated and you never smell vehicle fumes. 
The Tunnel does however have history...and while driving through if you toot your horn (and everyone does) "Toot it ti toot toot" someone will answer "Toot Toot" I can not ever remember a silent tunnel transit....
We clocked up 14 Km today including a lovely evening dinner at a restaurant on the waterfront.
