Morning surprise

After two days of rain I was surprised to see so many of these tiny mushrooms spread through the garden. I think they are called pleated ink caps. I am used to seeing a few from time to time but never as many as this morning. One of my early morning activities was to pull them out. There are still some left. An activity for another day.

It has been a hot day … enough to keep me inside other than dog walking and a trip across the road to the supermarket. When Charlie gets off the lounge and lays outstretched on the wooden floor I know it is time to turn on the ceiling fan. I forgot about the fan until I saw him do this today.
