Breezy Cromer

Another late blip...I blame the chatting!

We started the day with a leisurely breakfast, while Jon did his gardening job. At 11, together with Henry we drove to Cromer wandering down through the High street to the Rocket House cafe. Nice to have a view of the sea, from the warmth of the cafe. We all had cake with our coffee. Lemon drizzle and coffee/walnut was the choice today. Then a wander back through the high street stopping at Mountain Warehouse mainly - as it dominates the town now.

Back at home we had lunch, and as the weather was bouncing between rain and more rain, and I had a bad headache, we stayed in and played board games.

At 6.30 after a quick change into something a bit smarter, we went in to Cromer again, this time for a curry at the Indian on the Cliff. Both Karen and I had chicken biryani which was very nice. Served on the plate, with a full boiled egg. Not like any I have had before. Jon and Neil enjoyed their meals, chicken jacuzzi and chicken something else....I can't remember at this late hour!

Home for a glass of wine, and lots more chatting. A lovely day spent with our lovely friends.
