Fascinatingly Fabulous

Ten of us went into town for breakfast at the Cosy Club. The breakfast was a bit of a disaster as we waited for an hour then they came out and all the food was tepid at best. We sent back and they came back on warm plates but were still tepid. I was so hungry by then that I ate most of it. The manager was apologetic and halved our bill and sent 3 bottles of Prosecco. He did his best to make everything alright so we can’t moan.

We then went around the markets. It was absolutely heaving, but a great atmosphere. We had a few drinks and some mini pancakes. A lovely time with lovely friends.

I went to the Lowry tonight to see the 40th anniversary of Fascinating Aida. Oh, they were absolutely brilliant and hilarious. I’ll be singing the dogging song all weekend now ha ha ha.
