Cue Dambusters March

Time to set off back home. It was a glorious day but very cold. We took the scenic route, including going through the Winnats Pass which is always a good drive. We then headed to Ladybower Reservoir to track down the Dambusters Dam. We drove the full length of the dam and I had committed to Snake Pass before I realised we had gone too far, finding somewhere to turn around was difficult but I eventually managed it. With the help of Mr Google we then discovered the viewing point for the dam, which is actually on Derwent Dam. We got there in the end and it gave the final morning a purpose. 

We had a lovely drive back to Mum's, through beautiful countryside and ended up with a fish and chip lunch back at hers. After a quick bit of shopping it was then time for me to head home.
