Watchet
The Minx came back, this morning, with our friend, Annette, so that we could all use the good wifi to try for Glastonbury tickets, sadly in vain.
She had talked about going back to the festival, but in the end she decided to stay with me, which was a lovely surprise.
I went out for a long run to Blue Anchor, and then back along the coastal path, which was so muddy and hilly, that it made for a pretty unrunnable stretch of the outing.
After that, we had lunch with David and John at The Kitchen, which is part of the East Quay complex, and that was very enjoyable, both in terms of food and company.
As a consequence of all that, I had a very nice afternoon nap back in the cube, and then the Minx and I went out for the evening in Watchet, enjoying a small pub crawl, highpoint of which were the Harbour Inn (crazy), the Star Inn (excellent food), and Pebbles (live gypsy* jazz).
*Use of the term gypsy apparently OK in this context!
Extra: The stairs in the cube, up to the bathroom. I've not seen this design before, which is brilliant and simple.
