A microlight flight and meeting up with friends turned into a reading on the couch day due to ongoing gout issues, a real pain! I picked up this book in Porto, an epic tale of a boy growing up in Porto in the 19th century. Not finished yet as it’s over 600 pages but I’m really enjoying it, he even has a Scottish father!
