The Party is Over

Thousands of revellers are leaving today after three days of the Isle of Wight Festival by car ferry, fast catamaran, or in this case the Hovercraft from Ryde beach.
From tomorrow the average age of people on the Island will have risen by about 30 years.

The Festival ended last night with a marathon 4 hour set by Bon Jovi which by all accounts went down a storm. What with 63 year old Bruce Springsteen rocking Wembley Stadium to it's foundations the older guys can still show the newer bands a thing or two.

Islanders can now reset their watches back 20 years.
