A Friend For The Weekend

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

My friend, B, arrived from London last night and is staying for the weekend. We used to go walking a lot when he lived in Edinburgh years ago and spent most of the day wandering - first with Murphy and then into town. It was one of those cold, sunny days when Edinburgh looks absolutely beautiful and B is definitely at his happiest (and chattiest) when he’s out and about. It’s so good to see him healthy and in a good place and we had a really lovely day. He headed off for dinner at Kitty Cat’s tonight as The Prince and separate Christmas nights out (planned before he had arranged to visit).

My Christmas night out was with Marina and Richie. We went to Junk for food and then for a few drinks where Richie was delighted by our slightly merry Menopause chat. We did offer to talk about any boy stuff but he very firmly declined!
