Flying the nest!

Andrew texted me this morning while we were out walking Rona. He thought the blue tits that are nesting in our box were trying to coax the little ones out. I rushed back but nothing seemed to be happening. An hour or so later one had taken the plunge and was sitting on our path. Shut Rona in quickly and got my camera. So far we think two have gone but there are still more to come and the parents are still feeding them like mad.

It is an exhausting and worrying time watching our little brood go! They are three weeks later in leaving than last year.
