Woke up and watched yet another monster storm roll over us - the wind gusts were particularly troubling, as the giant trees in the neighborhood have been dropping branches like crazy. Lots of cracking but nothing lost (we just sawed up the remains of the last storm!). I have never lived in a place with such violent weather before; we had tornadoes when I was growing up but not like this. Dang nature, why you so scary?
