Bells of Fire

Thanks for your kind attention to my last few blips…and to the thanksgiving wheel.

Yesterday, neighbors across the street had invited me to come over for a piece of pumpkin pie. It ended up as an invitation to join them for dinner. It was a welcome surprise and I had a very nice time.

The flowers are Esperanza. Sometimes it’s called a trumpet bush. I found out that it’s a drought tolerant creeper and I’m guessing attractive to hummingbirds. It's a very poor iPhone picture but it was all I had today.

In other news…I had planned on returning something to Best Buy today. What was I thinking? It’s the largest electronics retailer in the country and today is the busiest shopping day of the year. I’ll wait.
