Keep your face to the sunshine

This dock is maintained by the city of Helsinki and you can use it freely to wash your carpets. This one is also situated in Hevossalmi. You are allowed to use special kind of washing powder when using the natural waters for cleaning. It used to be kind of a tradition in Finland when during hot summer days the whole family would clean the carpets and spend the day by the shore. Some people use these even today.
