Trees, trees and more trees!

Spent the morning with the Community Tree Nursery Volunteers at Poole Farm. Started by digging up tiddly oak trees in a field that's about to be mowed . We got very muddy. The tiny trees will be planted and cared for and will hopefully grow into lovely big oak trees to be planted in and around Plymouth. Collectively, the volunteers rescued 80 baby trees so pretty good. We then separated some tree seeds from their husks for storing. A local news TV company came to film some work that the volunteers were doing, very exciting. The camera and microphone were very small!
This evening we are off to the first in a series of tree talks organised by Plymouth Tree People. Hopefully, I'll remember some of it.
