Autumn is waning….

……bit by bit.
Not many leaves left now except for the oaks and some beeches
The oaks are like a tawny gold.
I was out this morning.
This afternoon we had a catch-up on FaceTime with a good friend for an hour. It is now so mistily gloomy outside that I will have to switch on a lamp soon.
It’s 15:15, and the school traffic is gathering outside as it finishes at 15:30.
