lurking in the lawn

We were sitting out on the porch enjoying a post Laser Quest beer refreshment with the neighbours after a pleasant Father's Day when we spotted this little creature hiding in the grass.

On closer inspection, we spotted two more little ones and the mother arrived later on, so it appears my lavender as now become a home for a family of bunnies.

Going to have to be careful when we're mowing the lawn, and there won't be rabbit on the menu anytime soon.
