Another Station
One of the two lodges ( dating back to 1870) at Euston station that are all that remain following the demolition of the rest of the station in 1962. Spotting stations I recognised carved into the lodge, I was interested to see Keswick listed but not Oxenholme , where I travel to and from, previously called Kendal Junction. Keswick opened in 1865 and closed in 1972. Oxenholme opened in , 1847 as Kendal Junction, was renamed in 1860 and is still open. I wonder how many other stations carved on the lodges have closed. Maybe I'll do a bit of research and see if I can find out.
Anyway I've visited estate agents and lawyers and am on my way home.
