Not Something You See Every Day
Round to Bags' first thing.
When Squirrel and I were about to leave we were unable to find Cosmo.
Squirrel phoned Bags for any suggestions. Things like "in a cupboard" .... "under a bed".... "behind the settee" were suggested. They had all been checked. Something was mentioned about the bins. I thought she meant the recycling ones in the kitchen ...... they were empty (it is bin day). For some reason I unlocked and opened the back door.
Guess who was cowering on the step.........
He crept in looking very subdued.
He is an indoor cat and although he has made a break for it a couple of times there has always been somebody there to grab him in a few seconds. This time he was out there all on his own..... in the rain. He didn't like it.
After breakfast SWMBO and I went and dropped off last night's pathetic collection. Just after we had left, there was a call for a pick-up up the road. That was much more worthwhile and wont actually cost anything for the pick-up & drop off.
I was going to put up a picture of the Christmas cactus bud (2 here) but I rather liked the way Kahlua look like she had been fired through The Cygnet.
