Fly Agaric

"Fly agaric is the home of fairies and magical creatures and a lover of birch woodland, where it helps trees by transferring nutrients into their roots, but if eaten can cause hallucinations and psychotic reactions."


Peering through some barriers that had closed off a footpath while work was in progress, I caught sight of this outbreak of plastic fungi and associated fly tipping. Funny old world - even without hallucianations! But hey, Christmas is coming - I'm sure it will look splendid in the end.
