Patras

There were 194 steps to this hill and then some walk uphill to the fortress. Which was closed on Mondays of course. The gates were open and there was a man in the ticket booth, whose function was to tell to the visitors that the sight is closed. How greek is that?

City was quite nice and lively after all those little fishing villages and isolated bays. A pity though it was completely surrendered to cars. Where once the Turkish overruled the Greeks, cars now dominated and people were oppressed.
