Mojo

Guiseley seem to have rediscovered their mojo and backed up their recent good form with a convincing 4-0 win over fellow Northern Premier League promotion challengers Matlock Town.

To be fair to the visitors, they posed a big threat during the first half, particularly with a succession of corners, but some clinical finishing from Guiseley saw them pull away.

Some of the Matlock fans had brought a Welsh flag so I went over for a chat at half-time to compare notes on the final Euro qualifying games that were taking place at the same time. Unfortunately the results didn’t go our way, but there is still a possible route to qualification through the play-offs. 

It was apparently the 75th game that I’ve watched at Nethermoor.
