Driving home

For Penny's birthday. 142.7 miles.

Setting off took time. First the handyman arrived his one available day to do some jobs id booked him for. The bathroom radiator sprung a leak. Trying to get a plumber was not happening. I pressed the key fob to open the car, nothing, pulled the fob apart to use the key triggering the alarm. Pulled the lid off my face cream and the pump stuck to the lid, cream spattered everywhere.  Put some left over bolognaise in the bin, bin tipped, bolognaise on the cupboard, on the floor. Still no plumber, called the neighbour in to watch over it for me and left a spare key. Still not packed to go. It was almost 2pm before i left with 142 mile to go. What a day.
