Give it time

The council trimmed the shrubs in this flower bed earlier this year, so the majority of mahonia. flowers aren’t growing above my head any more.
Which is good, because once more flowers open they should be buzzing with bumblebees, even if it is November. 
The little snail is making itself at home too.
