Railway Reflections
A long day out with Jamie saw the dogs and I taking a short walk at Penmaenpool, a couple of miles from Dolgellau, while Jamie was at an appointment. On the Mawddach Trail which runs along disused trackbed from the coast line to Dolgellau, there are occasional reminders of it's railway past. None are more obvious than those around Penmaenpool where the station building remains in another use, the signal box is under the care of the RSPB and signals remain alongside the track. Beautiful reflections are common here and today did not disappoint.
Earlier Jamie had spent a couple of hours at the stables helping out as a volunteer after his morning ride. I'm home for an hour and a short nap, before singing this evening.
