Cancelled

Went up to the station to get the train into Leeds for my ballet lesson. The notice board was blank and the ticket machine wasn’t working, not a good sign. Noticed everyone looking at their phones and walking away so checked my phone and saw this train and the next one were both cancelled.
Made a quick decision to jog/ walk back to the village to try and get a bus, luckily l did and made it to Northern Ballet with minutes to spare. Not the best prep.
Lovely lesson and good to see everyone, we had coffee afterwards and we made some plans for a festive drink after the last lesson this term.
Decided to think about buying some presents and just got up to Briggate when l was sent a text with a link to a runner that Mr P coached. J now lives in Switzerland but sends his race reports to Ilkley Harriers.
I’ve included a paragraph in extras, but needless to say it brought a tear to my eye in addition to feeling very proud.
