Father's day

I was woken this morning with a kiss, a gift and a card from my daughter for Father's Day. I also took a moment (actually way more than a mere moment) to remember my father who passed away a few years ago. I have the letters 'WWDD' on the wall in front of me in my office - he was one of the most sensible folk I knew, and I often turned to him for sage advice. I shared my love of sport with him and he'd have been in his element this weekend with a load of rugby, football and cricket to watch from the armchair. He was tee-total, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind me raising a glass to him at this moment. Love you dad.
