Where's MY chicken?

Pesto the cat knows it's in the oven.......he is obviously guarding it!
I've never seen him lying here before - not even in the winter. He knows that it's MY domain and he will get trodden on if I am in there cooking, but he is not keen on the latest cat food that I bought him so he has been mythering me all week and now he seems to have taken up residence in my space!
Cats - don't you just love 'em?
